Cranberry Rhubarb Pie

Ingredients

 

  • 1 can (16 oz) cranberry sauce
  • 1/3 cup (80 ml) sugar
  • 1 ½ tablespoons (22 ml) cornstarch
  • 3/4 lb (323 g) rhubarb sticks cut into 1/2 inch 2 cm (2 cm) pieces
  • 1- 9’’ pie crust (22 cm)

Preparation

 

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 ° F (190 °C)
  2. In a bowl, mix cranberry sauce, sugar and cornstarch
  3. Add rhubarb
  4. Pour the mixture into the pie crust.
  5. Bake for 40 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
  6. Let cool completely.
  7. Sprinkle with icing sugar before serving.
