Hot Brie

Ingredients

 

  • 1 225 g (8oz) brie cheese
  • 1/3 cup (80 mL) cranberry sauce
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) rum or orange extract
  • 1/8 teaspoon (0,5 ml) grated nutmeg
  • 2 tablespoons (30 mL) chopped pecans

Preparation

 

  1. Preheat the oven to 500 ° F (260 ° C).
  2. Remove the crust on the top of the Brie.
  3. Mix cranberry sauce, brown sugar, rum and nutmeg. 
  4. Pour the cranberry mixture over the cheese and sprinkle with pecans.
  5. Bake at 500 ° F (260 ° C) for 4 to 5 minutes.
  6. Serve right away with crackers.
